Ryan Praeger Memorial Scholarship Fund
The Ryan Praeger Memorial Scholarship Memorial Fund is a non-profit created to help enrich the lives of children, through music.
In August 2014, our community lost a wonderful young man, loving soul, and talented musician, Ryan Praeger. The Praeger family hosted a fundraiser in September 2015 to keep his memory alive. All proceeds were donated to The Music Academy for scholarships to students who otherwise would not have an opportunity to benefit from music therapy and/or music lessons.
Since then, the Ryan Praeger Memorial Scholarship Foundation has continued to have yearly events to raise funds to provide families in need with scholarships to our program. They have provided support for dozens of families over the past 5 years by giving the gift of music. We are forever grateful for their selfless act of kindness and giving heart. Ryan’s gift of music holds a very special place in all of our hearts at The Music Academy.
